Common Causes For Infertility In Women

The major problem facing by most of the women now-a-days is Infertility. There are many reasons for getting this problem. Mainly infertility is caused due to unhealthy food habits and stressed life. At present life became a challenging to everyone, so every single person is running for the challenge. In this situation we are neglecting health and other issues which leads to major health problems. So it is important to know about our health and take care of it to avoid this kind of problems which leads to major issues in the future.

What is INFERTILITY?

       Infertility is a case in which there is a difficulty in becoming a pregnant. In some cases even they become pregnant there will be miscarriages due to hormonal imbalances. Infertility is common both in men and women. In men, infertility leads to less sperm count than required which causes difficulty in conceiving. Whereas in female infertility is due to many reasons. Some of the common causes for infertility in women are listed below.

THYROID:

       The most common thyroid problem involves the  abnormal production of thyroid hormones. Too much thyroid hormone results in a condition known as hyperthyroidism. Insufficient hormone production leads to hypothyroidism. Hypothyroidism is a leading cause of difficulty in achieving and maintaining pregnancy. Low thyroid function has a negative impact on reproductive health and is more common than most women realize. There are many symptoms for thyroid problem in women. Some of the symptoms are listed below.

Symptoms of Thyroid:

  1. Sudden weight gain or loss
  2. Swelling in the neck
  3. Changes in heart rate
  4. Mood swings
  5. Hair loss
  6. Irregular periods
  7. Loss of energy

PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome):

       PCOS is a major problem in most of the women now-a-days which is leading to the infertility in females. About 4 women out of 10 are facing this problem. The hormones are out of balance in the women who suffering with PCOS. It causes irregular periods and makes it difficult to get pregnant. If it was not treated properly, it can leads to major problems such as diabetes and heart disease. Most women with PCOS grow many small cysts on the ovaries, which are not harmful but leads to hormonal imbalances. Early diagnosis and treatment can help control the symptoms and prevent long-term problems.

 Symptoms of PCOS:

  1. Irregular  periods or No periods
  2. Excessive growth of unwanted hair
  3. Hair loss
  4. Weight gain
  5. Mood swings
  6. Acne
  7. Depression

PCOD (Polycystic Ovarian Disease):

        PCOD is almost similar to the PCOS. There is only a slight difference in both the cases. In PCOD, the ovaries are generally large and denser than the normal ovaries. PCOD was the most common cause for infertility in female. In this case the sex hormones go out of the balance and the body starts producing more male hormones which results in facial hair and acne. Due to this male hormones there will be a problem to conceive. Some of the common symptoms of PCOD are listed below.

Symptoms of PCOD:

  1. Irregular menstrual cycle
  2. Abnormal hair growth or loss
  3. Obesity
  4. Hormonal imbalance
  5. Insulin resistance
  6. Dark patches on the neck and arms
  7. Acne or oily skin

The above cases are the common causes of infertility in women. By taking proper medical help we can overcome this problems. Healthy lifestyle with healthy food and minimum exercise should also be taken along with the medical help to control the infertility in females.
